BREAKING: Godwin Obaseki sworn in as Edo gov......CONGRATS


Hehe....finally....wetin go happen to Ize iyamu na ? Godwin Obaseki has been sworn in as the fifth civil Governor of Edo State.Obaseki was sworn in by the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Cromwell Idahosa, after taking the oath of office at about 12:20pm, amidst jubilation and administration from a large crowd of supporters.The Deputy Governor, Philip Shuaibu, took his oath of office earlier at about 12pm.


The inauguration ceremony of the Edo State governor-elect, Godwin Obaseki, and his deputy, Philip Shuaibu, as the Governor and Deputy Governor of the state has been finalised. ceremony commenced at about 11am with the National Anthem and an opening prayer.Earlier, the outgoing Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, arrived in a private vehicle, which he personally drove in company with his wife.Also present at the event is a delegation of the National Assembly led by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
